Sunday/Monday football
Two teams here who’ll be pushing for top 6 places, one hoping to avoid the drop and another vanishing into mid-table obscurity.

Guendouzi is turning into a cracking player- still not perfect but fucking hell does he get all over the park...learning fast in the PL after his first year of nibbling around the sidelines and diving at the slightest touch

Re: Sunday/Monday football
Emery offered his players to vote for their new captain this season, and they've ended up voting for Xhaka who IMO is probably their worst player in the squad.

Recipe for disaster that.

Arsenal have Bellerin and Tierney to come in which improve them but their central defence is very shaky.
As said on Sky last night they seem to have the same faults as under Wenger.
I also expect a bigger club will take Aubameyang off them too.
Maybe Barcelona as a Suarez replacement.

Both of these clubs missed a trick in not going for Rodgers.

I don’t rate Emery. Surely, any decent manager would realise that Arsenal’s defence is atrocious and look to invest heavily in defence including a better ‘keeper.

Instead, they keep investing in attacking players - an area where they don’t need to improve on much - and spent a fortune on Pepe who’s disappointed for them so far.

Arsenal fans deserve everything they get. Desperate to get rid of Wenger, because he didn't deliver what they felt they were entitled to, they can now regret at leisure. (Or, more likely, find a more successful team)

We need every team in our peer group to drop points, so a draw and 2 points lost is always the best result unless relegation/a spot in Europe is an option (for us).

Both teams had a go but way off top 4 quality let alone Man City and LIverpool.
